Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Bots - Development and Consultancy
A series of pre-programmed steps that guide an operator through a process or activity, retrieving and/or sending data to/from various applications (Web, Windows) as required
It can contain decision steps to cope with any combination of circumstances.
It can also directly access data relevant to the process using DB connections (SQL Server, Oracle, Access, Excel etc.)
It can prompt for yes/no, lists, text, notes or numeric/currency inputs and prompt for confirmation that manual step(s) have also been completed. Lists can be populated programatically from other systems.
It can suggest links or server resources that can give additional help for the task at hand.
It can access our other Back Office module data (subject to access rights) so it can automatically complete fields where these already exist.
Documents letters and emails can be created automatically.
They can send and retrieve data to and from other applications (including web/intranet/Windows) and can programatically submit information, access specific pages etc.

How are RPA Bots created?
We provide consultancy services to analyse, design, build, test and document your RPA bots.
Their configuration data can be managed using our configuration screens available throughout our back office software suite.

What examples do you have as to how RPAs can be used?
When completing a work process in our Workforce Management module, a URL can be displayed that either goes to a help screen / server resource or directly to the relevant RPA Process Guide/Personal Robotic Assistant for help or to complete the process.
How do RPAs help?
Operators who are not fully conversant with certain activities can use our RPA / AI Robot Process Guides, part of our back office software suite, to help with their decision making process.
Using RPA allows automation of repetitive clerical tasks based on if/then rules to decide what to do.
They and are self-documenting resources for existing activities greatly assisting with business process management.
They audit who ran which Process / bot and how long each step took.
They show exactly what steps were taken (any why) to complete a process.
PPAs (Personal Process Assistants) are similar to RPAs (Robotic Process Automation) except they are designed to be used by operators who need additional flexibility/human intervention.
Instead of running in a completely autonomous mode, they run prompting for information when needed and giving AI guidance to help the operator complete particularly complex tasks.
They can be activated during a fully automated Robotic Process Automation bot for more complex processes that need human-interaction.
Their configuration data can be managed using our configuration screens available throughout our back office software suite.
All actions are audited and timed.
Operator notes give guidance as to why a particular path was chosen.
